Benefits Of Raspberry

Back to Romania for our annual vacation and today my lovely mom harvested some fresh raspberry for us. I just love organic raspberry because the taste of this fruit is fantastic, rich in vitamins, antioxidants and fiber, natural excellent sources of vitamin C & manganese.

They have a high concentration of ellagic acid, a phenolic compound that prevents cancer, thereby stopping the growth of cancer cells.

I love eating them raw but you can include them in some drinks or cooking recipes and also can be used as a natural face mask, alone or in combination with other powders, honey or oils, helping effectively reduce the age spots and discoloration.

Raspberries are rich in effective antioxidants as well phytonutrients. These elements proficiently reinforce your immune system and help your body to fight disease.

Raspberries have high Nutrient Value, phytonutrient content, rich in traditional nutrients, primarily in the antioxidant and B vitamin categories.
I deeply recommend organic version of raspberry, they will stay fresh in the refrigerator for one or two days and also freeze very well, thus making long-term storage easier. I use them into my smoothies and home made ice creams.

Suggested recipe: In a blender, whirl:
1 small banana, peeled and cut into chunks
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup kefir or yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
